Choosing
Does the built-in solar really recharge the station?
No, and we would rather say so. The built-in panels total 40 W: they hold the charge while parked. To recharge a 1,024 Wh station off-grid you need an external panel — which is why we offer a 200 W panel separately.
What is the difference between continuous and peak output?
Continuous output is what the unit delivers all the time. The peak lasts only a few seconds, when a motor starts for instance. Always size on the continuous output: beyond it, the unit shuts down to protect itself.
What capacity should I choose?
Add up the wattage of the appliances you want to run, multiply by the number of hours you want, then add 20 % for inverter efficiency. That gives you the watt-hours you need. If in doubt, write to us.
Does a portable air conditioner really cool a room?
Yes, on two conditions: size it correctly, and vent the hot air outside through the supplied hose. Without venting, a single-unit machine heats the room instead of cooling it. On an open terrace, the effect stays local.
Ordering and receiving
How long until I am delivered?
The estimated lead time is shown on each product page before you order. The detail of zones and carriers is on the Delivery and lead times page.
What if the parcel arrives damaged?
Check the state of the parcel in front of the driver and write precise reservations on the transport document — a note saying “subject to unpacking” has no legal weight. Then write to us at contact@attolle.com with photographs.
Can I change my mind?
You have fourteen days from delivery to withdraw, with no reason to give. The full terms are on the Returns and withdrawal page.
Using and maintaining
Can I recharge a station while driving?
Yes, through the vehicle's 12 V socket. How long depends on the model's capacity and the power it accepts on its input, which is given on each product page.
How long does the battery last?
Our stations use LiFePO4 cells rated for 3,500 cycles to 80 % remaining capacity. At one full cycle a week, that is several decades of seasonal use.
What do I do with the unit at end of life?
It must not be thrown out with household waste. When you buy a new product, you can hand us the equivalent used equipment free of charge. Batteries are collected separately.
Warranty and support
How does the warranty work?
All our products carry the statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects. The detail is on the Warranty and support page.
How do I reach you?
One address, before and after the purchase: contact@attolle.com. By phone, on +33 (0)4 28 29 08 16, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
