About this product

614 Wh portable power station, LiFePO4 cells, pure sine wave inverter. 1,000 W of continuous output at 230 V, 2,000 W peak.

230 V socket, 12 V car socket, 65 W USB-C in and out, two USB-A. LCD screen showing input, output, voltage and remaining runtime.

Built-in solar panels of 20 W each, 40 W in total. Their job is to hold the charge while you stay put, not to fill the battery back up: that is what lets you stay in one spot for days — a van, a hide, an observation post with an antenna to keep powered — without coming back to plug the station in. For a real off-grid refill you need an external panel; on mains, allow about 4 hours.

Same chassis as the Volta 1600: 436 × 339 × 142 mm for 11.5 kg. IP54 rated: sealed against dust and splashes, output ports included. 32700 cells in 8P4S.

Four colours: olive, navy blue, yellow and orange.

Shipping and returns

Order dispatched within 24 hours. Then allow around fifteen days for delivery in mainland France; shipping is calculated in the cart before payment, and nothing is added after the order.

You may withdraw for 14 days after delivery. The estimated maximum cost of a return is €90 for a power station, €15 for an accessory. See Delivery and lead times and Returns and withdrawal.

Warranty and after-sales

Two years, parts and labour. Those two years are the statutory warranty of conformity, which we apply at no cost to you: the return, the repair or replacement and the reshipment are all on us.

WHAT THIS PRODUCT CANNOT DO

Not a replacement for a generator. If the appliances plugged in together ask for more than 1,000 W, the station cuts the power to protect itself: no induction hob, no water heater, no electric heating.

The built-in solar panels total 40 W. They are there to hold the charge where you are parked, not to fill the battery back up: allow around thirty hours of full sun for a complete charge. To genuinely recharge off-grid you need an external panel.

The renders of the four colours are the manufacturer's. To date we have only received the olive one.

What people ask us about the power stations

Can I run a Zéphyr air conditioner from this power station?

Sizing is done on the station's continuous output, never on the peak output, which only holds for a few seconds when a motor starts.

We have just changed supplier for the air conditioning range: we will publish the power draw of the Zéphyr Blanc and Noir as soon as their technical sheet reaches us. Until then we would rather not put forward a figure. Write to us at contact@attolle.com and we will check compatibility with you before you order.

What is in the box?

The station, its mains adapter, the Volta cable kit — 12 V car-socket charging, solar connection and adapters — the carry case and the documentation.

The kit and the case are not sold separately: they come with every station, at no extra cost.

How long does it take to recharge?

Four hours for a full charge from the mains: the Volta 1600 accepts 240 W on its input, for 1,024 Wh of capacity. That is the manufacturer's figure; we have not measured it ourselves yet, and real charging efficiency may make it longer.

Can it be used while it is charging?

Yes. The station accepts charging and discharging at the same time: an appliance can stay plugged in while it recharges, from the mains as well as from solar.

Can I take it on a plane?

No. Lithium batteries above 160 Wh are banned from both the cabin and the hold on commercial flights. All our stations are far above that threshold — 614 Wh for the Volta 1000, 1,024 Wh for the 1600. None of them can travel by air, whatever the airline.

What happens if I exceed the stated output?

The protection cuts the output. Nothing breaks, but the appliance plugged in stops. That is why we show the continuous output first: it is what determines what you can plug in, not the peak, which only holds for a few seconds when a motor starts.

Are the built-in panels enough to recharge it?

No, and we would rather write it here than let you find out after buying. The built-in panels total 40 W: they hold the charge of a station at rest, they do not put it back. To genuinely recharge off-grid you need an external panel — offered just below the price — or the mains, which does a full charge in 4 hours. The cable that links the panel to the station is in the kit supplied with it.
