Two years of warranty
All our products carry a two-year warranty, parts and labour, from delivery.
We would rather be precise on this point: those two years are the statutory warranty of conformity, which applies as of right to any purchase in France. We do not present it as a commercial benefit, because it is not one. What differs from one seller to another is how the warranty is applied.
What we undertake to do
Nothing for you to pay up front. Where a product is found to be faulty or not as described, the costs of return, repair, replacement and reshipment are entirely ours. You advance nothing.
A contact in France. After-sales support is handled by our team in Lyon, Monday to Friday. No form that goes unanswered, no redirection to a manufacturer abroad.
No argument about the burden of proof. During the two years, a lack of conformity is presumed to have existed since delivery. We do not require you to prove otherwise.
Statutory warranties
Your products benefit as of right and at no extra cost from the statutory warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects.
Under the statutory warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), you have two years from delivery of the goods to bring a claim. You may choose between repair and replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions set out in article L.217-12. You are not required to prove the defect during the twenty-four months following delivery. Bringing the goods into conformity is done at no cost to you.
Under the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), you may bring a claim within two years of discovering the defect and obtain a refund of the price against return of the goods, or a reduction in the price.
These warranties apply independently of any commercial undertaking and cannot be restricted by one.
What is not covered
Normal wear of consumables, and damage resulting from use contrary to the manual, from modifying the unit, from a fall, from immersion, or from work carried out by an unapproved third party.
For batteries, the gradual loss of capacity linked to the number of cycles is not a defect: our cells are rated for 3,500 cycles to 80 % remaining capacity. A sudden drop in capacity, on the other hand, is one.
Spare parts
In accordance with article L.111-4 of the French Consumer Code, the period during which the spare parts essential to using the product will be available is stated on each product page. That period is given to us by the manufacturer; where it has not been, the product page says so expressly rather than staying silent.
How to reach us
After-sales support: contact@attolle.com
Phone: +33 (0)4 28 29 08 16
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Give us your order number, the unit's serial number and a precise description of the problem. Photographs or a short video speed up the diagnosis: in most cases they save sending the unit back and forth.
Electrical waste and batteries
Our products must not be thrown out with household waste. When you buy a new product, you can hand us the equivalent used equipment free of charge: write to contact@attolle.com to arrange collection.
Used batteries are collected separately and must never be pierced, dismantled or incinerated. They can be left at the collection points provided for that purpose, in particular at recycling centres and in shops distributing this kind of equipment.
