We have changed supplier on this range, and a certificate applies to a specific reference, not to a model. Still to be obtained for the new references: the energy label and the product fiche under Regulation (EU) 626/2011, together with the EU Declaration of Conformity. They will be published here as soon as they arrive.

The RoHS report, the EN 60335 electrical safety report, the EU Declaration of Conformity and the UN 38.3 transport report for the lithium cells are being sent over by the manufacturer. They will be published here with their number and their laboratory. An electromagnetic compatibility report does not cover electrical safety: for a unit that delivers 230 V, both are needed.

What applies to BME CONSULTING

These two schemes apply to the company, not to the units: a product's conformity is established by its EU Declaration of Conformity, never by its seller's certification.

ISO 9001 — quality management
Certified
BME CONSULTING is ISO 9001 certified. The standard applies to how the company is run: the way it handles purchasing, checks and complaints. The certificate is provided on request.
EcoVadis — environmental and social rating
Rated
BME CONSULTING is rated by EcoVadis on its environmental and social performance, a score reviewed periodically.

We mention them for what they are: evidence that an audited organisation stands behind the brand.

What these documents actually cover

The CE marking is not a certificate issued by a body: it is a declaration by the manufacturer or the importer, which commits them and which rests on testing. It is that testing we list above, with its number and its laboratory.

A laboratory certificate covers one sample, not a whole production run: the documents we hold say so themselves.

An electromagnetic compatibility report does not cover electrical safety: for a unit that delivers 230 V, both are needed.

Finally, a certificate covers one specific reference, the one named on the document. When a model changes supplier, its documents do not follow: new ones have to be obtained, and we say so here until they are.

Our own measurements

Our runtime measurement protocol will be published here as soon as the first tests are run: load applied, ambient temperature, cut-off criterion. Until a value has been measured by us, we publish the manufacturer's and we say so on the product page.
